Maybe, since they didn’t deal with the PTWP at all, and that was tied to that, it just became a casualty? But I really expected to see the Wall melting and flowers starting to grow and bloom in the North with a brief voice over mentioning the fulfillment of that prophesy.
And honestly, I wanted an explanation for the funky seasons, whether the flaming ball in the credits was symbolic of something, how the maesters figured into it all, why they wanted to destroy magic, etc.
But I adjusted my expectations down to a D&D level and just wanted a bit of summer. Anyone else felt they missed out on that or am I just expecting too much?
